OK, so I admit it...it was our last full day of summer fun, pool and all, and I decided to take the boy (big boy really) to get some "Chicken Nuts," (aka Chicken McNuggets) for a special treat. I look away for two seconds and what happens? Ketchup all over Owen's face. My reaction: complete shock. How could my little 'I don't want any sand, goop, paint, gooey mess on me' little boy rub ketchup all over his face and sit there smiling? I hid my laughter while I ran to get the camera...

Striking a Pose!

Our little Henry LOVES the camera! These are not random cute-faced photos. These are 'aim the camera, flash light blinking, little boy stopping playing and flashing the most adorable, cheek pinching pose' that a proud mommy could ask for.

The Smile is Back!

After almost an entire year of dodging the camera Owen has finally accepted the fact that his mom just will NOT put the camera down, no matter how frowny, grumpy, non-comliant, or quick-at-turning-his head he is. That goodness his mom loves a challenge!!!

Owen's First Birthday Party!

I don't know who was more excited, Owen or myself, to be going to his first friend birthday party. It seemed like a 'coming of age' sort of experience that I was more than happy to share with my growing boy. The day was filled with more 'firsts' than just the birthday party...first sucker and first time eating cake for breakfast. That's my kind of party!!!

Big Brother Love

Owen is such a good big brother. It's a job he embraced the moment he laid eyes on Henry. He reads to him...

and pats his legs to make him giggle.
