In Honor of Meet the Babies - Cabin Style

"I was stuck at home during our annual Meet the Babies weekend. I found myself thinking about what you Woodshop Girls were doing while at the cabin and was sad to miss out on all the fun. So I decided to make my own MTB fun, cabin style. Of course it wasn't the same, but would have to do for this year. I missed you girls!"

In Honor of Meet the Babies - Cabin Style!

"We don't have a lake worth swimming in near by, so the coldest thing that I could find other than ice cubes was my garden hose. Yes, that's me in the lawn - a bikini clad pregnant woman holding a hose over her head awaiting the spray that would surely make me say, 'Oh crap. What was I thinking?"
"Not quite fresh picked blackberry pie, but a close runner up...almost. I am sure the berries and the rhubarb in this Amish-made pie were picked by someone, just not us girls on the shore of the lake."

More MTB III - Cabin version

"It's no fun playing spoons by myself, but like a good sport I got down on my hands and knees and did a piggie lap around the table. Baker chased me the whole way!"

"Striking the 'Janie' pose during a break from the action! Just fyi - Owen sits like this once in a while. It cracks me up!!!"
"In the tub all alone...sigh. I know I could fit at least one more buddy in here."
"That's better!"

What?! A Binkie?!

From Day 1 Owen refused to take a binkie. Yes, it sometimes made plane trips a bit rough. Other than that, we didn't miss it. But now at eighteen months, he is smitten with his bug binkie.

A Dragon in the House!

Ahhhhh! This morning we were invaded by a dragon. He jumped. He climbed. He ran. He breathed (or at least tried) fire.
And he shared the drink from his sippy cup.

Bugs Everywhere!

Owen spotted a bug hanging out on the flower, but he didn't want to get too close. He kept shaking his head 'no.'
Waiting for more bugs...or Bubba, the cat from next door.
Owen is signing the word 'bug' to let Mommy know that he spotted one. He respected the Rolly Polly's space for a few minutes, then got really up close and personal.
