Socks Please!

Owen was so proud of his new look! Going around pant-less is always a hit, but when Daddy got home Owen insisted that he wear Daddy's socks. So up they went...past his knees!
Of course the shoes had to come next. Owen eventually took the shoes off, but the socks had to stay... all the way through dinner. They would have made their way into the bathtub if it were up to him, but Mommy put her sock-less foot down.

"What'd I do?"

Owen's expression is saying: "Why are you laughing Mommy?" Hint: look closely at Owen's left hand, the bottom of his right pant leg and the top of his head.
Mommy: "You shook baby powder on your head?!!! Don't move. Let me grab the camera!!"

Hugs and Snuggles Around!

Grandma is good at giving big bear hugs!
Papa and Owen are usually too busy to sit still for a shot, but they did it!!
Uncle Mitch gave Owen a Husky uniform and made sure he packed his own so they could match.

Owen's Uniform

The pool was full, the water warm, and the sun just right.
Owen loved dumping this big glass of water on his tummy.
Grandma's garden is full of flowers, but Owen found the loneliest ones and visited them everyday.
Owen spent most of his days at Grandma's in this uniform.

Playing at Grandma's

Dancing with Papa. Their favorite tune: The Farmer and the Dell.

The passion was born - Owen hasn't stopped playing with cars since his trip to Washington.
He loved Moby the dog...
and Dick the cat.

A Day at the Aquarium

An inside view. These fish are named Owen and Daddy.
I think the big kids are having a lot of fun!!!
Owen just loved the eel. I'm sure everyone in the aquarium heard his squeals.
Like father like son.
Strolling with Uncle Chris.

Fun in the Sand

Building a Plop Castle with Grandpa.
Playing in the sand is serious business.
Another trip to get water with Grandma.

Owen's First Visit to the Oregon Coast

Owen didn't care much for the feel of sand on his toes. It took some coaxing to get him to drop his feet.
Once he did, he loved pulling his bucket in the sand. But darn those speed bumps...
As always, walking on the beach was a bit chilly. Owen got an extra layer from Daddy.
