What a big boy! Backpack on and ready to go. All smiles! Henry couldn't stand not being a part of the picture. Afterall, it was a big day for him too - the first day with Mommy all to himself. At the door - a little bit nervous... Ahhh...that's better! Cars. Lots of them.
Hmmm...no wonder why Henry has been constantly sick this winter/spring. Good thing Owen's there to give him a check up. "This won't hurt a bit (chuckle, chuckle, chuckle)." What a good big brother - testing it on himself first.
Pirate shirt...check. Pirate vest with belts...check. Pirate sash...check. Pirate booties...check. Pirate pants? Where are those? Looks like you're missing your hat and eye patch too!
Papa Larry? Is that you? I'm pretty sure my dad would wear the exact same outfit...well, maybe not the hedgehog beanie hat. Hmmm...I wonder if it might come in his size?
The secret to a great exploration starts with a great view... You need to be able to look at things from the top... and the bottom. And, of course, smile really big for longevity's sake.
Professionally I am an elementary teacher, but am taking a break to stay home with my boys. This break has been six years and counting. With my spare time I've opened a small business called huck & jo - basically providing an outlet for me that doesn't involve the kiddos. It's crafty, it's fun and it can be messy - my basement is constant proof. The unfortunate part about that is I am more productive and think a bit more clearly when things are clean and tidy. This blog is about life. Life with the boys. Life with hubby. Adventures we go on, choices we make and the mistakes and triumphs we learn from.
